Large Paver Driveway Construction in the Plantation Country Club Ponte Vedra

On this project, this home underwent a major renovation- removing and adding major portions of the house including a total hardscape and landscape renovation. Brick planter walls were added to the front of the house.  A new paver driveway was designed featuring Flagstone Paver's Declaration series pavers in the Camel Charcoal color.

A plan was laid out for the driveway to handle the water flow and drainage. Creating generous curves and width for easy access for the homeowners and guests.

Paver driveway construction took 4 days, accommodating sleeving for pet fence, irrigation, lighting, and other utilities. 

The finished hardscape renovation project complete with landscaping and lighting. 

Pavers were laid using a length wise running bond pattern alternating the bricks with each row. The color chosen was a Camel Charcoal blend. The pavers are all 8" x 12" with 45 degree bevels at the corners of the pavers. This project was designed and installed by Moderna Pavers of Jacksonville FL.

The styles of brick pavers used here: Tremron's 3 piece Mega Olde Towne shape, layed in a random pattern for the driveway, Walkway and Entry way area. This job is a large brick paver driveway renovation construction project in Ponte Vedra Beach FL. This project was completed in (Ponte Vedra) East Jacksonville FL by Moderna Pavers of Jacksonville. This project took place in April of 2014, marking more than 220 projects of this type, and more than 1,200 total projects completed by Moderna in Jacksonville, the Beaches and Ponte Vedra.

This hardscape project involved Moderna changing the entire look of the front of the home, removing a single leg paver driveway and creating a circular paver driveway.

Brick Paver Driveway Construction in Ponte Vedra Beach FL

This new paver driveway in Ponte Vedra has had all the neighbors talking for the past few weeks. It features an unique paver combination of specialty pavers- Tremron's Tuscany and Tremron's Stonehurst, both from the Architectural collection. In this case both styles of pavers were antiqued, a process of tumbling and roughing up the edges and surface of the pavers adding an old world charm. 

The tumbled Stonehurst paver is laid with three different sizes alternating in direction. 

New Paver Stone Driveway in Ponte Vedra by Moderna

This week's featured project involved renovating a concrete driveway in Ponte Vedra Beach FL. This residential driveway was not in bad shape, but the homeowners felt it could be improved both in function and aesthetics. They wanted to be able to accomodate more vehicles and also desired to be able to navigate a turn-around within their driveway so guests could pull onto the residential street safely. They were especially sensitive to keeping the soft look and curb appeal of the home without creating a "parking lot" or rigid feel.

To accomplish the task they turned to Jay Devine- a local landscape architect who specializes in residential and commercial redesign in Ponte Vedra. Jay has an extensive portfolio and with careful consideration of the homeowners needs, his firm developed a plan to gracefully expand key areas of the driveway to improve the look and maneuverability. "When dealing with a residential project of this scale, every subtle detail is combined to create a beautiful finished product both in function and style" Says Jay Devine, RLA. 

The pavers chosen for the driveway are Tremron's Plaza series, part of their Classic Collection in an 8" x 12" shape. The pavers were laid out in a running bond pattern with lines that bring your eye from the curb to the home. The color chosen is Sierra, with subtle blends of Tan, Sandstone and Charcoal to harmonize with the homes base, roof and trim colors.

New Brick Paver Driveway Project in Ponte Vedra by Moderna

The brick paver driveway is installed with Olde Towne pavers manufactured by Tremron. The color is Sand Dune which is blends of Sandstone, Tan, and White. The Border for this project was done with a solid Tan 6" x 9" paver.
